Simply remove the line from the tip of your rod, slide the tip of your rod through the hole in the tube closest to the light and back out the top hole.
Swivel the tube on top of the rod for spinning rods and on the bottom of the rod for casting rods. Twist the light to the right to turn it on and to the left to turn it off.
